Welcome to Valli Opticians in Meltham. We have been looking after the eyes of Meltham since 1984, which makes us  the longest established opticians in the Holme Valley!  Although we have evolved to the bright, modern, community practice we are today, we have not lost our focus on individual care and fantastic customer service.  Our patients are greeted with a friendly face and a cup of tea or coffee by our local staff.

Valli Opticians in Meltham is located in the centre of the village, which has plenty of free parking and the bus stops directly outside.  The practice is stocked with beautiful eye wear from designer ranges, luxurious optical brands, as well as stylish yet affordable budget frames.  There really is something for everyone and our highly trained staff can assist with the perfect choice.

Our appointments are longer than most other opticians and we use the latest eye care technology and equipment including eye scanning technology.  Our experienced Optometrists take the time to explain the eye test clearly and offer advice on a range of eye-related problems, general health and well being.

For patients who are unable to visit the practice we are the only opticians in Meltham that provides a domiciliary service where our Optometrist can provide an eye examination and spectacles in the comfort of your own home.

We offer a full contact lens service from fittings to checks and a regular delivery service. The Valli VIP Plan is tailored to the individual and offers great benefits including unlimited check-ups and 25% off spectacles.

We really care about eye health and provide NHS appointments to help manage a number of eye conditions.  We are part of the PEARS scheme, which means people can visit us rather than their GP or hospital if they are experiencing sudden pain, discomfort, redness, changes or flashes of light in their vision and any other eye related symptoms.  Anyone can access this service and it is funded by the NHS so there is no cost to the patient and appointments can be booked at short notice.

We offer full corporate eye care services and provide both on and off site services for a number of our clients in Huddersfield.  We specialise in providing eye care for office based staff and safety eye wear for staff working on shop floors and in factories.

We provide a full hearing care service including hearing aids, hearing aid batteries and other accessories, ear wax removal and FREE hearing health assessments.
