Welcome to Valli in Netherton Huddersfield.  Established in the late 1990’s and formerly known as Souten & Agyemang Optometrist, Valli in Netherton is conveniently located in the heart of Netherton Village, which has plenty of free parking.

We stock a fantastic range of designer eye wear, luxurious optical brands, and a stylish yet affordable range of budget frames. We are stockists of  Silhouette, Stepper, CocoMint, Aspinall, Ted Baker, Cath Kidston and many more. Our experienced staff will be happy to help and guide you when making your selection.

We offer a full contact lens service from fittings to checks and a regular delivery service. The Valli VIP Plan is tailored to the individual and offers great benefits including unlimited check-ups and 25% off spectacles.

We specialise in colorimetry which helps people with reading difficulties, such as visual stress (Meares-Irlen Syndrome) and dyslexia, to see better. We offer a complete service from the rate of reading test, coloured overlays to precision tinted spectacles.  We also offer Ortho-k contact lenses for spectacle and contact lens free vision during the day. Our optometrists are highly trained in these specialist services and are happy to help with any queries.

We really care about eye health and provide NHS appointments to help manage a number of eye conditions. We are part of the PEARS scheme, which means people can visit us rather than their GP or hospital if they are experiencing sudden pain, discomfort, redness, changes or flashes of light in their vision and any other eye related symptoms. Anyone can access this service and it is funded by the NHS so there is no cost to the patient and appointments can be booked at short notice.

We offer full corporate eye care services and provide on and off site services for a number of our clients in Huddersfield. We specialise in providing eye care for both office based staff and safety eye wear for staff working on shop floors and in factories.

We provide a full hearing care service including hearing aids, hearing aid batteries and other accessories, ear wax removal and FREE hearing health assessments.
