Since opening in December 2003, Valli Opticians in Outwood, Wakefield, has long become established as a cornerstone business within the local community. As a result, we now care for the majority of the local communities’ eye health, as well as that of patients from farther afield.

We serve the Wakefield community with professionalism, dedication, and a great deal of experience. We provide a service which includes some of the very latest advances in eye care and lens technology.

Valli Opticians Wakefield has a selection of frames to suit every taste and need. We have trendy children’s frames, simple and affordable adult frames, all the way through to the very latest designs from some of the biggest names in fashion. We pride ourselves on being able to provide some of the best lens technology currently available.

We offer enhanced optical services including the MECS scheme which means people can visit us rather than their GP or hospital if they are experiencing pain, discomfort, redness, sudden changes or flashes of light in their vision and any other eye related symptoms. Anyone can access this service and it is funded by the NHS so there is no cost to the patient and appointments can be booked at short notice.

For patients who are unable to visit the practice we offer a domiciliary service where our optometrists can provide an eye examination and spectacles for patients in the comfort of their own home.

We provide a full hearing care service including hearing aids, hearing aid batteries and other accessories, ear wax removal and FREE hearing health assessments.
